"Slice of Life"

16" x 20" Stretched Canvas

I'm back home and back into the swing of things.  My short term goal is

to finish up a few paintings for the upcoming shows.  Awhile back I painted

a sunflower still life with colors similar to these.  I was surprised by the way

the yellow glowed when light hit it.  This painting seems to do the same thing.

The lemons certainly take center stage on this one!

Today I painted a single lemon.  Thanks to Les and Jen for supplying

a bag of them fresh off your trees!  I've also started a painting of a group of

lemons in my favorite blue bowl.  Stay tuned for that one...probably day

16 or 17 on a little larger canvas.  Check out more of my paintings on my

Have a wonderful week!
